Job Title: Cyber Security Engineer Location: Jaipur, Rajasthan Experience: 1 to 5 Years Compensation: Up to ₹8 LPA (Commensurate with experience and technical proficiency) Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Cyber Security Engineer to safeguard our digital infrastructure, systems, and networks. In this role based in Jaipur, you will implement security controls, conduct regular vulnerability testing, monitor network traffic for security breaches, and respond to threats. Candidates with hands-on technical skills will be placed across salary tiers based on their depth of experience. Key Responsibilities * Security Operations & Engineering: Deploy, manage, and optimize firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint detection and response (EDR), and VPN infrastructure. * Vulnerability & Threat Management: Perform continuous vulnerability assessments (VAPT), penetration testing, and security scans across applications and networks. * Incident Response & Monitoring: Analyze security alerts via SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel), investigate incidents, contain active threats, and conduct root-cause analysis. * System Hardening: Configure security policies, patch management protocols, and access controls (IAM) across cloud and on-premise environments. * Compliance & Audits: Ensure organizational controls adhere to standards like ISO 27001, NIST CSF, and GDPR. Required Qualifications & Skills * Education: B.Tech / B.E. in Computer Science, IT, Cyber Security, BCA / MCA, or related technical degrees. * Experience: 1–5 years of active experience in security engineering, network defense, SOC analysis, or ethical hacking. * Technical Proficiency: * Hands-on knowledge of SIEM, Next-Gen Firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet), and anti-malware tools. * Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) for automation. * Solid understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, BGP) and OS security (Linux, Windows Server). * Certifications (Preferred): CEH, CompTIA Security+, Network+, CCNA Security, or eJPT.
