JOB SUMMARY
Department: Project Operations / Execution Reports
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Site Supervisor with a strong background in civil engineering and a proven track record in managing both core civil works and high-end interior design executions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for day-to-day on-site monitoring, ensuring that operations progress seamlessly in strict accordance with architectural layouts, structural drawings, and specific interior design details. You will bridge the gap between engineering plans and fine spatial finishes, managing subcontractors, coordinating material deliveries, and upholding rigorous quality and safety standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Site Monitoring & Supervision
Conduct continuous, proactive on-site monitoring of day-to-day civil and interior fit-out construction activities.
Ensure all works strictly comply with approved structural drawings, architectural layouts, and interior detail specifications.
Maintain a comprehensive daily site diary/log documenting labor turnout, work completed, material deliveries, and site hurdles.
2. Civil Engineering Liaison & Quality Control
Interpret complex structural drawings, civil plans, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) layouts accurately.
Oversee fundamental civil tasks including brickwork, plastering, waterproofing, tiling, and structural modifications.
Verify structural levels, alignments, dimensions, and material mixtures to ensure uncompromising quality control.
3. Interior Design Execution & Finishing Management
Supervise premium interior execution, including modular furniture installation, false ceilings (Gypsum/ POP), custom woodwork, painting, and wall treatments.
Collaborate closely with Interior Designers and Architects to translate creative concepts into precise, high fidelity physical executions.
Ensure precise alignment, material textures, edge finishes, and premium aesthetics as per design intent.
4. Vendor, Contractor, & Resource Coordination
Coordinate workflow among multiple specialized sub-contractors (carpenters, electricians, plumbers, painters, civil laborers).
Manage inventory by tracking material consumption, raising timely purchase indents, and verifying the quality of incoming supplies.
Optimize labor and material usage to eliminate waste and keep project execution within the designated timelines.
5. Safety & Compliance
Enforce strict on-site safety protocols, ensuring all site personnel utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workplace environment at all times.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Interior Design, or a closely related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of proven experience as a Site Supervisor, handling projects that seamlessly integrate structural civil works with comprehensive interior fit-outs (residential, commercial, or retail).
Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting structural, architectural, MEP, and working interior detail drawings (AutoCAD file interpretation skills are highly valued). Strong working knowledge of civil construction materials, interior finishes, woodworking joinery, and sequence of finishes.
Soft Skills: Outstanding team coordination, conflict resolution, time management, and verbal communication skills.
Prerequisites: Excellent physical stamina to supervise active construction layouts and flexibility to adapt to changing site schedules.
