About the Role
We are looking for a Civil Quantity Surveyor with 1 to 3 years of experience to join our project team. The candidate will be responsible for quantity take-offs, estimation, billing, cost monitoring, and coordination with site and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications.
Prepare BOQs, estimates, rate analysis, and material requirements.
Prepare and verify RA bills and subcontractor bills.
Check measurements at site and ensure quantities are accurate.
Monitor project quantities, costs, and material consumption.
Compare actual quantities with BOQ quantities and identify variations.
Prepare variation statements and additional work measurements.
Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, architects, consultants, and subcontractors.
Verify work completed at site before processing bills.
Maintain proper records of measurements, quantities, bills, and supporting documents.
Assist in cost control and project budget monitoring.
Review civil drawings and specifications to identify quantity requirements.
Support the project team in resolving quantity and billing-related issues.
Requirements:
B.Tech / B.E. / Diploma in Civil Engineering.
1–3 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying, billing, estimation, or construction.
Good knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity estimation, measurements, and billing.
Ability to read and understand civil drawings and specifications.
Knowledge of Excel and MS Office is essential.
Knowledge of AutoCAD will be an advantage.
Good numerical, analytical, and documentation skills.
Ability to coordinate effectively with site teams and subcontractors.
