Webstrail LLP is seeking a Software Test Engineer who has a foundational understanding of software testing principles and a strong interest in building hands-on testing expertise. This role is ideal for candidates with theoretical exposure to different testing methodologies and a willingness to learn under guidance.
Job Role
- Execute functional test cases for web-based applications.
- Understand requirements and assist in validating application functionality.
- Identify, log, and track defects using standard defect management tools.
- Support senior QA engineers in testing activities across the SDLC.
- Gain practical exposure to API testing, database testing, and non-functional testing.
- Participate in test planning, test execution, and test reporting activities.
- Collaborate effectively with development and product teams.
Skills Required
- Understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies.
- Knowledge of functional and non-functional testing.
- Awareness of API testing and database testing concepts.
- Ability to write clear and structured test cases.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred skills:
- Understanding of the healthcare or medical domain
- 2 to 4 years of experience in manual software testing.
- Demonstrates the ability to write clear, well-structured test cases and test scenarios.
- Willing to perform key testing types, including UI/UX testing, Regression testing, Smoke testing, and Sanity testing.
