Job Summary
The Purchase Department is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, goods, and services required for the organization’s operations. The role ensures timely procurement, cost efficiency, and compliance with company policies while maintaining strong vendor relationships.
Key Responsibilities
· Identify reliable suppliers and vendors based on price, quality, and delivery speed.
· Issue purchase orders (POs) and ensure accuracy of quantity, pricing, and specifications.
· Compare quotations, evaluate supplier bids, and prepare cost analyses.
· Ensure timely availability of materials to support uninterrupted operations.
· Maintain professional relationships with existing suppliers.
· Develop new vendor sources to improve quality and reduce costs.
· Conduct supplier evaluations and performance reviews.
· Negotiate pricing, terms of delivery, and payment conditions.
· Coordinate with the stores/warehouse teams to track stock levels.
· Avoid overstocking or stockouts through effective planning.
· Forecast material requirements based on production schedules or market demand.
· Maintain accurate purchasing records, contracts, and invoices.
· Ensure all procurement activities follow company policies and legal standards.
· Prepare purchase reports, cost summaries, and vendor performance records.
· Work closely with production, engineering, quality, finance, and logistics teams.
· Resolve any issues related to delivery delays, quality discrepancies, or payment.

Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering
· 4–6 years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
