Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled *DRO (Digital Readout) Machine Operator* with a strong understanding of conventional machining processes. The ideal candidate should have experience in operating manual machines equipped with DRO systems, ensuring precision and quality in every component produced.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and set up manual machines with *DRO systems* for accurate machining tasks.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and follow job instructions accordingly.
- Perform milling, drilling, and boring operations using DRO-equipped machines.
- Maintain dimensional accuracy and check components with precision instruments.
- Select appropriate tools, cutting speeds, and feeds for different materials.
- Ensure machines are maintained in proper working condition and perform routine checks.
- Coordinate with the team to complete daily production tasks efficiently.
- Follow safety practices and keep the work area clean and organized.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Hands-on experience with DRO-equipped milling or lathe machines.
- Strong understanding of machining fundamentals and mechanical drawings.
- Accuracy in measurements and a focus on high-quality output.
- Familiarity with measuring instruments like micrometers, vernier calipers, and dial gauges.
- Good work ethic, responsibility, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Team-oriented with effective communication skills.
