Brandtom & Brandter India Pvt. Ltd. is a fast-growing, full-service marketing and advertising agency. We craft impactful brand narratives through creative strategy, digital and performance marketing, web development, and high-impact content creation. We are scaling our growth engine and looking for a high-energy Business Development professional who understands the media landscape, speaks the language of brand managers, and knows how to pitch creative solutions that win accounts.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Pipeline Generation: Proactively identify and pitch to potential clients, brand managers, and marketing heads through targeted LinkedIn outreach, networking, industry events, and cold pitching.
- Consultative Selling: Deeply understand client briefs, brand challenges, and market trends to pitch tailored marketing, digital, and creative solutions.
- Pitch & Proposal Leadership: Collaborate with the internal creative, strategy, and digital teams to build compelling pitch decks, commercial proposals, and scopes of work (SOWs).
- Deal Closure: Schedule, lead, and navigate client meetings from the initial chemistry session through negotiation to successful onboarding.
- Account Transition: Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and ensure a seamless handover of newly won accounts to the client servicing and account management teams.
- Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets to drive the agency’s bottom line.
- CRM Management: Maintain meticulous data hygiene by tracking leads, deal stages, and revenue forecasting in our CRM.
Required Skills & Experience
- Agency/Media Savvy: A solid understanding of the media and advertising ecosystem (Digital, Mainline, BTL, Content Production).
- Communication Master: Exceptional presentation, storytelling, and negotiation skills—you must be comfortable pitching to C-suite executives and Brand Directors.
- Relationship Builder: Proven track record of nurturing relationships within the marketing and media fraternity.
- Commercial Acumen: Ability to structure commercial deals, understand agency margins, and negotiate win-win contracts.
- Tech Comfort: Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho) and presentation software (Google Slides/Keynote).
- Drive: Self-motivated, numbers-driven, and thrives in a fast-paced agency environment.
Eligibility
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Media, Mass Communication, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of proven experience in Business Development, Corporate Sales, or Client Acquisition within an Ad Agency, Media House, or Digital Marketing firm.
- Location: Must be willing to work full-time from our Chennai office.
- Notice Period: Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period (15–30 days) will be given top priority.
