Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of production and utility equipment.
- Maintain machines such as compression machines, coating machines, blister packing machines, labelling machines, granulation equipment, and HVAC systems.
- Ensure proper functioning of utilities like air compressors, chillers, boilers, RO systems, and AHU.
- Maintain daily maintenance records, logbooks, and documentation.
- Attend machine breakdowns and resolve issues within minimum downtime.
- Coordinate with production and QA departments for maintenance activities.
- Execute calibration and periodic servicing schedules.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor spare parts inventory and raise indent requirements.
- Support installation and qualification of new equipment.
- Maintain electrical panels, motors, pumps, and mechanical systems.
- Ensure workplace cleanliness and safe working practices.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / B.Tech / BE in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering.
- ITI candidates with relevant pharma experience may also apply.
Experience
- 2–4 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing maintenance.
- Experience in OSD/Capsule/Liquid section preferred.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Understanding of GMP and pharmaceutical compliance.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of utility systems and production equipment.
- Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Ability to work in shifts if required.
- Strong technical and analytical skills.
- Team player with good coordination ability.
- Experience in pharma plant maintenance preferred.
Working Conditions
- Manufacturing plant environment.
- May require emergency breakdown support and shift duty.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
