Timings: 10:30 AM – 7:30 PM
Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month
Role Overview:
Build and lead the HR function of a fast-growing ed-tech company serving students across 45+ countries.
Connect My Expert is expanding its operations in Rajahmundry and building high-performance teams across multiple functions.
You will work closely with the founders, gaining direct exposure to decision-making and playing a key role in building the organization from the ground up.
We are hiring an HR Lead who can take complete ownership of hiring, HR operations, and people processes. This role requires strong execution, speed, and accountability, with direct ownership of day-to-day HR decisions aligned with the founders’ direction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Team Building
- Handle end-to-end hiring across Sales, Lead Generation (Marketing), Tutor Hiring, Customer Support & Operations
- Build and maintain a consistent hiring pipeline
- Shortlist candidates, coordinate interviews, and manage multiple hiring stages with Team Leads and founders
- Ensure smooth and fast execution of hiring with quality closures
- Manage bulk hiring requirements when needed
- HR Operations & Compliance
- Manage attendance, payroll processing, and leave tracking
- Handle onboarding, documentation, and employee records
- Ensure process discipline, accuracy, and compliance
- Set up and manage PF, salary structures, and basic HR compliance systems
- Performance & Accountability
- Implement and track KPIs/KRAs
- Monitor employee performance and identify gaps
- Ensure teams maintain output consistency and discipline
- Organization & Process Setup
- Support team structuring and reporting hierarchy
- Implement HR policies, SOPs, and basic systems
- Standardize processes for smooth and scalable operations
- Employee Engagement & Retention
- Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives
- Build a stable, growth-oriented work environment
- Address employee concerns and improve retention of strong performers
- Employee Lifecycle & Benefits Setup
- Set up and manage employee benefits as the team scales (PF, salary accounts, health insurance)
- Ensure smooth onboarding to long-term employee support systems
Requirements:
- MBA in HR (mandatory)
- 3–6+ years of HR experience
- Strong experience in recruitment, payroll, and HR operations
- Hands-on experience in payroll processing, PF setup, and compliance management
- Proven ability to handle multiple hiring requirements simultaneously
- Strong execution skills with ability to manage interview pipelines and coordinate with Team Leads and founders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, execution-focused environment
- Strong communication and coordination skills
Preferred:
- Experience in startup environments where teams were built and scaled
- Background in ed-tech, hospitality, healthcare (hospitals), or similar high-operations industries
- Exposure to bulk hiring or high-volume recruitment
