Role: ServiceNow Developer (CMDB / ITOM Focus)
Role Overview
We are seeking a ServiceNow Developer to support the design, development, and optimization of ServiceNow CMDB solutions for the AI Inventory project. The role will focus on hands-on development, configuration, integrations, and platform enhancements, working closely with architects and stakeholders to deliver scalable and high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and configure ServiceNow CMDB solutions aligned with Common Service Data Model (CSDM) standards and organizational requirements
- Build and enhance AI Inventory capabilities to track AI agents, models, and MCP components within ServiceNow
- Configure and support ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping to automate asset visibility and dependency mapping
- Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow CMDB and external systems (e.g., Databricks, cloud platforms, enterprise tools) using REST/SOAP APIs, Integration Hub, and Import Sets
- Create and customize ServiceNow applications, workflows, business rules, client scripts, and UI policies using JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting
- Implement data quality rules, CI relationships, and support CMDB data maintenance and governance activities
- Configure and support ITOM modules such as Event Management, AIOps, and Cloud Management for infrastructure monitoring
- Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and Performance Analytics for CMDB health and operational insights
- Prepare technical documentation including configuration details, development guidelines, and integration flows
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and deployment activities, ensuring adherence to development standards and best practices
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and implementation
- Strong working knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB, ITSM, and ITOM modules
- Proficiency in JavaScript, ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes), and Flow Designer
- Experience with ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, and MID Server configuration
- Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP APIs, Integration Hub, and data imports (Import Sets, Transform Maps)
- Good understanding of CSDM framework, CI relationships, and CMDB data modeling concepts
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and their implementation in ServiceNow
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) preferred/required
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills
Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams

ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or CIS (ITSM/ITOM/CMDB)
- Experience with custom application development and scoped apps
- Exposure to AI/ML systems or AI infrastructure tracking
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and integrations with ServiceNow
- Experience with Performance Analytics and reporting
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and DevOps practices
- Basic understanding of SecOps or cybersecurity integrations
