Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and patient-focused Phlebotomist / Lab Technician with at least 1 year of experience in blood sample collection and specimen handling. The candidate will be responsible for safe and accurate blood collection, sample processing, documentation, and maintaining hygiene and infection-control standards at our occupational healthcare facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform blood collection through venipuncture and other specimen collection procedures.
Properly identify, label, process, and store collected samples.
Handle patients professionally and ensure a comfortable sample-collection experience.
Follow proper infection-control and biomedical waste disposal practices.
Maintain accurate sample records, registers, and documentation.
Coordinate sample transportation to the designated laboratory when required.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the sample collection area.
Monitor and maintain basic laboratory consumables and supplies.
Follow SOPs, safety protocols, and quality standards.
Assist doctors and nurses with laboratory-related activities when required.
Eligibility:
DMLT / MLT or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Minimum 1 year of experience in phlebotomy / blood sample collection.
Good knowledge of venipuncture and specimen handling.
Good communication and patient-handling skills.
Basic computer knowledge.
