We are looking for a skilled and disciplined Tool Room Operator to handle conventional Lathe and Milling machines. The ideal candidate will be responsible for manufacturing, modifying, and maintaining precision tools, jigs, fixtures, and components according to engineering drawings.
Key Responsibilities
- Machine Operation: Set up and operate conventional Lathe and Milling machines safely and efficiently.
- Precision Work: Turn, face, thread, slot, and mill components to precise tolerances (within microns/millimeters as required).
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of tool room machinery to ensure smooth operations.
- Die Setup: Setting up and making operational dies and molds on machines as required.
- Requirements & Skills
- Qualification: ITI Pass-out in Machinist, Turner, or Fitter trade.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience specifically operating conventional Lathe and Milling machines in a tool room environment.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of cutting tools, materials (Steel, Brass, Aluminium), and machining speeds/feeds.
- Attributes: High attention to detail, sharp focus on safety protocols, and a problem-solving mindset.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
