Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, result-oriented HR Manager to oversee our Human Resources operations for our textile wholesale division in Thrissur. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end recruitment to support our fast-paced wholesale operations, driving employee retention strategies, managing statutory compliance, and implementing structured training programs.
This is a critical role requiring strong leadership, a deep understanding of labor laws, and the ability to maintain high operational standards across billing, packing, and floor teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition & Role Fulfillment: Manage the full recruitment lifecycle to promptly fill vacancies across wholesale counters, billing teams, warehouse/packing units, and administrative roles.
- Retention & Turnover Management: Track, analyze, and actively work to reduce the employee turnover ratio. Implement engagement initiatives and grievance-redressal mechanisms to build a stable workforce.
- Training & Development: Identify performance gaps and organize structured product-knowledge, customer service, and operational training for new hires and existing staff.
- Statutory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all labor laws and statutory requirements, including ESI, PF (Provident Fund), and the POSH Act (Internal Complaints Committee management). Handle all necessary documentation and inspections.
- Policy Adherence & Implementation: Enforce company HR policies, monitor attendance/payout data structure, and ensure standard operating procedures (SOPs) are consistently followed by all department heads.
Job Specifications & QualificationsCriteriaRequirementExperience3 to 5 years of proven experience as an HR Generalist or HR Manager (Experience in the Textile, Retail, or Wholesale sector is highly preferred).
LocationMust be a Thrissur-based local candidate with a strong understanding of the local workforce market.LanguageProfessional fluency in English and Malayalam (both written and spoken) for effective team communication and legal correspondence.
Technical SkillsProficiency in advanced MS Excel (data management, formulas, reporting) and familiarity with modern HRMS software (e.g., greytHR or similar).

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
