Job Summary
The Solar Project Engineer – EPC (Electrical) is responsible for planning, execution, supervision, testing, commissioning, and handover of solar photovoltaic (PV) projects. The role ensures that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with company standards, electrical regulations, and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute rooftop and ground-mounted solar EPC projects.
- Conduct site surveys and evaluate project feasibility.
- Review electrical drawings, SLDs, layouts, and BOQs before project execution.
- Coordinate with procurement and stores to ensure timely availability of project materials.
- Supervise installation of solar PV modules, inverter systems, AC/DC cabling, earthing, lightning protection, and associated electrical works.
- Ensure installation quality as per MNRE, CEA, DISCOM, and applicable electrical standards.
- Monitor project progress and maintain daily work reports.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, electricians, technicians, vendors, and clients.
- Ensure adherence to project schedules and timelines.
- Perform testing, commissioning, and system performance verification.
- Coordinate with DISCOM for net metering and electrical approvals, where applicable.
- Prepare project documentation, inspection reports, commissioning reports, and handover documents.
- Ensure compliance with all electrical safety procedures and PPE requirements at project sites.
- Resolve technical issues during project execution.
- Support after-sales service during the warranty period whenever required.
Required Qualifications
- B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) or Electrical Engineering.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
