The Executive / Senior Executive – Solar Segment will be responsible for supporting sales operations, lead management, and end-to-end coordination for solar pumping system projects. The role involves close interaction with customers, internal departments, dealers, and government bodies to ensure seamless execution of solar projects, especially under subsidy-driven schemes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Sales Coordination & Lead Management
- Generate and qualify leads for solar pumping systems through various channels (dealers, campaigns, tenders, and direct inquiries).
- Proactively follow up with prospective customers to convert inquiries into orders.
- Maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities and track progress through CRM systems.
- Act as a single point of contact for customers, dealers, distributors, and field sales teams.
- Address customer queries related to product specifications, pricing, delivery timelines, and after-sales support.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with channel partners to drive business growth.
- Prepare detailed techno-commercial quotations and proposals.
- Support in tender documentation, bid submissions, and compliance with requirements.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy and competitiveness of proposals.
- Assist in documentation and compliance for government schemes such as PM-KUSUM and state-level solar initiatives.
- Coordinate with relevant authorities and agencies for approvals, subsidies, and registrations.
- Maintain proper documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
- Work closely with factory and backend departments including Production, Engineering, Purchase, Quality, and Stores for material planning and execution.
- Ensure availability of materials and smooth workflow across departments.
- Maintain and update customer databases, sales records, and CRM systems.
- Track sales targets, order status, and pipeline movement.
- Prepare periodic MIS reports, sales analysis, and performance dashboards.
- Ensure accurate documentation for order processing, invoicing, and dispatch.
- Follow up on payments and maintain records of receivables.
- Coordinate with finance and logistics teams for smooth transaction processing

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline.
2–5 years of relevant experience in sales coordination, preferably in the renewable energy or solar industry.
- Basic understanding of solar pumping systems and agricultural applications.
- Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of government solar schemes (e.g., PM-KUSUM) will be an added advantage.
