About the Role
We are seeking a highly accomplished and strategic Vice President – Finance to lead the organization's financial planning, budgeting, compliance, risk management, and overall financial strategy. The ideal candidate will partner with senior leadership to drive sustainable growth, optimize financial performance, and ensure strong governance across all educational institutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the organization's financial strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Oversee accounting, treasury, taxation, payroll, audits, and statutory compliance.
- Prepare and present financial reports, MIS, dashboards, and strategic insights to the executive leadership.
- Monitor financial performance and recommend initiatives to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and corporate governance requirements.
- Lead annual budgeting, financial forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
- Establish and strengthen internal financial controls, policies, and risk management frameworks.
- Manage banking relationships, investments, and funding requirements.
- Drive ERP-based financial process improvements and digital transformation initiatives.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounts team.
- Support mergers, acquisitions, expansion projects, and strategic investment decisions when required.
Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) is mandatory.
- MBA (Finance), CMA, or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.
- 12–18 years of progressive experience in Finance and Accounts, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Experience in the education sector or multi-unit organizations is preferred.
