- Create blueprints and schematics for new computer equipment using specialized design tools.
- Build prototypes of hardware components like microprocessors, routers, and memory cards.
- Upgrade existing hardware to make sure it works smoothly with new software programs.
Testing and Quality Control
- Run tests on individual parts and complete computer systems to check for performance and safety.
- Analyze test data to find and fix defects or design flaws.
- Ensure finished products meet all industry standards and quality guidelines.
Troubleshooting and Support
- Diagnose and solve complex hardware failures or system crashes.
- Provide expert technical help to fix broken internal equipment or user devices.
- Oversee production and work with manufacturing teams to build final products safely.
