We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Executive who can help uphold and strengthen our quality processes while ensuring excellence across packaging, assembly, and corporate order operations.
Key Responsibilities1. Inward Material Quality Control
- Conduct quality inspections of incoming packaging materials and finished goods.
- Evaluate packaging components for box rigidity, print quality, artwork accuracy, glue strength, shade consistency, ribbon alignment, foam quality, and overall hygiene standards.
- Maintain inward QC records, inspection reports, and rejection documentation.
- Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams for quality-related observations and corrective actions.
2. Assembly Quality Control
- Perform routine quality checks during assembly operations as per approved QC standards.
- Verify SKU accuracy, product placement, labeling, packaging presentation, cleanliness, and finishing quality.
- Ensure all assembled products strictly adhere to approved Product Specification Sheets (PSS).
- Maintain assembly defect logs and highlight recurring issues for corrective and preventive actions.
3. Corporate Order Quality Assurance
- Monitor quality compliance for customized and corporate gifting orders.
- Verify branding elements, logo placement, artwork execution, personalization details, and print quality.
- Ensure all corporate requirements align with approved specifications and customer expectations.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to maintain consistency across large-scale corporate orders.
4. Product Specification Sheet (PSS) Management
- Support the creation, review, and updating of Product Specification Sheets.
- Maintain master records and revision histories of approved specifications.
- Cross-check assemblies and packaging outputs against the latest approved versions.
- Ensure documentation accuracy and version control across departments.
5. Documentation & Control Sample Management
- Maintain quality trackers, inspection records, rejection logs, and corrective action reports.
- Organize and manage approved control samples for reference and quality benchmarking.
- Ensure all quality documentation is updated, accessible, and audit-ready.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives through structured data management and reporting.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality excellence.
- Understanding of packaging materials, assembly processes, and quality control parameters.
- Good documentation and record-management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and quality tracking systems.
- Familiarity with Product Specification Sheets (PSS) and artwork verification processes.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to identify recurring defects and recommend process improvements.
- Process-oriented mindset with a high level of accountability and ownership.
Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline.
- 2–4 years of experience in Quality Control, preferably within FMCG, packaging, assembly, manufacturing, personal care, cosmetics, or luxury product industries.
- Hands-on experience in quality inspections, documentation management, and process compliance.
- Prior exposure to luxury, premium consumer products, or packaging quality environments will be preferred.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Accuracy and completeness of inward QC inspections and rejection records.
- Reduction in assembly defects and rework percentage.
- Timely maintenance and accuracy of Product Specification Sheets and revision tracking.
- Quality compliance of corporate orders against approved specifications.
- Documentation accuracy and control sample management.
- Improvement in overall quality discipline and reduction of recurring quality concerns.
