About the Role
Vista Funnel is looking for a technically inclined and client-focused Product Expert to join our team. This is not a typical customer support role — it requires a strong understanding of audio/video electronics, connectivity solutions, and technical troubleshooting.
You will be assisting AV experts, tech savvy clients across government, education, retail and hospitality sectors, primarily across the US, India, and otherglobal markets such as UK, Canada, Europe with pre-sales and post-sales queries, helping them choose the right products and resolving technical issues efficiently for a US based AV / Pro-AV brand/
Product Line Includes: AV Over IP Extenders, Matrix Extenders, Dante Products, HDMI Splitters, Audio Extractors and Converters etc.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with the right solution selection, setup, and troubleshooting for the AV items: Audio/Video devices (HDMI splitters, switches, extenders, etc, Connectivity solutions and signal flow, Voltage converters and power-related products
- Support clients across multiple time zones (India, US, and global)
- Understand technical issues, diagnose problems, and provide clear, accurate solutions
- Deliver first-contact resolution wherever possible, minimizing back-and-forth
- Communicate complex technical concepts in a simple and user-friendly manner
- Maintain detailed records of client interactions and resolutions
- Collaborate with internal teams for escalations and advanced troubleshooting
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken)
- Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to understand and explain audio/video setups, signal flow, and device compatibility
- Client-first mindset with the ability to show empathy and professionalism
- Ability to handle multiple queries efficiently while maintaining quality
Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have)
- Prior experience in technical support, electronics, or AV-related products
- Experience with tools like Zendesk or similar ticketing systems
- Familiarity with HDMI standards, display resolutions, etc.
- CTS Certifications
- Experience working with international clients
