Role: Teleconsultation Doctor

Role Overview:
We're looking for an experienced Aesthetic Doctor, or Plastic Surgeon to become the primary clinical advisor for CureMeAbroad's international patients across the US, Canada, Australia, Europe, and the Middle East.
In this role, you'll conduct virtual consultations, evaluate patients for cosmetic and reconstructive procedures, develop personalised treatment recommendations, and guide patients through every stage of their aesthetic journey from initial consultation to post-procedure follow-up.
You'll collaborate with leading hospitals and surgeons across multiple countries, ensuring patients receive ethical, evidence-based recommendations while maintaining the highest standards of patient care.
This role is ideal for clinicians passionate about aesthetic medicine who enjoy patient interaction and want exposure to a rapidly growing international medical tourism platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual consultations with international patients seeking aesthetic and cosmetic procedures.
- Evaluate patient suitability for both surgical and non-surgical aesthetic treatments through detailed medical history and clinical assessment.
- Review patient photographs, diagnostic reports, medical records, and case histories before consultations.
- Recommend appropriate treatment plans based on patient goals, medical history, and clinical suitability.
- Assess candidacy for procedures including but not limited to:
- Facial Plastic Surgery
- Rhinoplasty
- Facelift
- Blepharoplasty
- Liposuction
- Tummy Tuck
- Breast Augmentation, Reduction & Lift
- Gynecomastia Surgery
- Hair Transplant
- Body Contouring
- Mommy Makeover
- Non-surgical facial rejuvenation
- Identify medical, surgical, and psychological contraindications before recommending treatment.
- Clearly communicate expected outcomes, risks, limitations, recovery timelines, and realistic patient expectations.
- Collaborate with international surgeons, hospital coordinators, and patient care teams to develop individualized treatment pathways.
- Participate in pre-operative counselling and post-operative follow-up consultations.
- Escalate complex cases requiring specialist intervention whenever necessary.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation within EMR systems while adhering to HIPAA and applicable international privacy standards.
- Deliver compassionate, culturally sensitive patient care while maintaining the premium experience expected by an international clientele.
Eligibility & Requirements
- MBBS, MD, or equivalent from a recognized institution
- 7 to 8 years minimum of clinical experience, with meaningful time spent in general practice, internal medicine, or a closely adjacent specialty
- Demonstrated exposure to or interest in aesthetic medicine, whether through clinical practice, relevant training, or patient advisory experience
- English fluency at C1/C2 level, written and spoken, with the ability to explain complex medical information simply and confidently to a non-clinical audience
- Comfortable with telemedicine platforms, EMR tools, and digital patient workflows
- Availability to cover flexible hours accommodating US, Australian, and European time zone
