The Student Service Officer is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations and delivery of student services at Birkbeck India. The role involves managing student inquiries, providing guidance and assistance throughout the student lifecycle, and ensuring a positive and efficient experience for students.
The Student Service Officer leads and supports the student support team, monitors service performance, manages operational workflows, and collaborates closely with internal departments to achieve student satisfaction and retention targets while upholding high standards of quality, compliance, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and respond to student inquiries via email, phone, or in person, providing accurate and timely information.
Support students with admission procedures, registration, course selections, and other academic processes.
Assist students with administrative requirements, documentation, and compliance matters.
Lead and support the student support team to deliver high-quality service standards.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of student support services, identifying areas for improvement.
Manage operational workflows to ensure efficient delivery of student services.
Collaborate with internal departments such as academic teams, admissions, and administration to meet student needs and institutional goals.
Contribute to maintaining high standards of service quality, compliance, and student satisfaction.
Support initiatives aimed at increasing student engagement, retention, and success.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
Previous experience in student services, administration, or a related role is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments.
Proficiency in MS Office and student management systems.
Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to high service standards.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
