We are looking for an Operator to support day-to-day chemical plant operations. The role involves executing batch processes, monitoring equipment, and ensuring safe and efficient plant operations under the guidance of senior operators and shift supervisors.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in batch transfer and batch charging operations as per SOPs.
- Operate and monitor distillation processes, including temperature and pressure control.
- Support acid treatment activities, including safe handling, dosing, and neutralization.
- Monitor process parameters and report deviations to supervisors.
- Maintain batch records, logbooks, and shift reports accurately.
- Follow all safety, quality, and environmental guidelines.
- Assist during startup, shutdown, and routine plant activities.
- Maintain good housekeeping in the plant area.
- Coordinate with maintenance and quality teams when required.
Education & Experience
- ITI-AOCP
- Minimum 1- 2-year experience in chemical plant operations (batch process preferred)
Skills Required
- Basic knowledge of chemical plant operations.
- Understanding of batch processes, distillation, and acid handling.
- Awareness of industrial safety and PPE usage.
- Ability to follow SOPs and instructions.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
