Job Description:
At IPS, we are global leaders in developing innovative solutions for the consulting, architecture, engineering, project controls, procurement, construction management, and CQV of technically complex facilities, primarily in the life sciences industry. We are looking for a talented Manager (QA/QC) to join our dedicated team at our office in Vikhroli, Mumbai.
Position Responsibilities

Implement the QA/QC management system at the site.

Carry out inspection and checking for all quality-related procedures at the site and ensure activities are as per approved QA procedures

Review and approve the quality plan of the contractors.

Coordinate with quality inspections with all the site subcontractors and vendors.

Coordinate all nondestructive testing on site.

Provide QA/QC documentation to site subcontractors.
-
Verify that the quality-related site activities are in accordance with the applicable codes and standards.

Participate in the site's internal and external audits.

Coordinate all the quality site inspections through the site QC inspection.
-
Ensure all quality control documentation is compiled and completed for as-built handover.

Control all non-conformance reports and undertake remedial action.

Complete the site quality control instructions and action remedial responses.

Monitor and implement the approved site QC plan.

Coordinate with the site construction manager on all quality issues.

Attend the QA/QC site weekly meetings.

Ensure that safety is adhered to at the site.

Assure all technical documents related to site quality control are in their current status.

Assist the CM and PM to update Quality Manuals, procedures, and Quality Plans.

Submit a monthly report to the CM and PM with regard to the amount of work inspected, problems encountered, and solved.

Training for the Engineers and subcontractors related to the quality documents.

Timely interaction with the client for the final walk-down for the systems and generating the master snag list.

Verify all the snag list with engineers, sub-contractors, and close with the Client.

Review all the documents and submit as per the Client's requirement.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical/Production/Chemical/Industrial Engineering 20 years of experience.
