Position Summary
The Mathematics Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging and effective mathematics lessons to students in Grades 6–8, fostering logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a strong foundation in mathematical concepts.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Learning
* Teach Mathematics to students of Grades 6–8 as per the prescribed curriculum.
* Prepare and deliver interactive lesson plans.
* Use innovative teaching methods and educational technology to enhance learning.
* Encourage student participation and critical thinking.
Classroom Management
* Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment.
* Monitor student behavior and promote respectful interactions.
* Ensure a safe and inclusive learning atmosphere.
Assessment & Evaluation
* Prepare and conduct class tests, assignments, and examinations.
* Evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback.
* Maintain accurate academic records and progress reports.
* Identify students requiring additional support and provide remedial guidance.
Academic Responsibilities
* Complete the syllabus within the academic schedule.
* Prepare worksheets, question papers, and learning materials.
* Participate in curriculum planning and academic meetings.
* Support school academic initiatives and programs.
Parent Communication
* Communicate student progress to parents during meetings.
* Address academic concerns and suggest improvement strategies.
Professional Development
* Attend training programs, workshops, and staff meetings.
* Stay updated with modern teaching methodologies and curriculum changes.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics or related field.
* B.Ed. (Preferred/Required as per school policy).
* Minimum 1–3 years of teaching experience (preferred).
Skills Required

* Ability to simplify complex mathematical concepts.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
