Key Responsibilities
- Integrated Teaching: Deliver engaging, comprehensive lectures for Class XI and XII History and Political Science (Board Level) while simultaneously preparing students for the CUET Domain Subjects and General Test requirements needed for top-tier university admissions.
- Curriculum Delivery: Masterfully cover the CBSE curriculum, including World History, Themes in Indian History, Indian Constitution at Work, and Contemporary World Politics. Teach students to excel at both detailed, analytical subjective board answers and rapid, logical objective entrance questions.
- Cross-Disciplinary Alignment: Guide and mentor humanities-track students who are targeting high-potential career paths like Law (CLAT) or Civil Services (UPSC Foundation). Help them connect historical contexts and political theories to current affairs and competitive analytical frameworks.
- Assessment & Tracking: Design, conduct, and analyze Bi-Weekly topic tests (Subjective for Boards & MCQ-based for CUET) to benchmark performance and ensure national-level competitiveness.
- Doubt Resolution: Lead dedicated, individual doubt-clearing sessions to ensure students maintain absolute conceptual clarity, fostering a deep understanding of political ideologies and historical narratives.
- Mentorship: Maintain a disciplined, encouraging classroom environment and mentor students to develop the critical thinking, case-study analysis, and argumentative writing skills required for modern professional careers and higher education.
Requirements
- Education: Master’s Degree in History, Political Science, or a related field (MA/M.Phil/PhD).
- Experience: 2–3 years of proven teaching experience in a reputed coaching institute or school handling both History and Political Science at the Senior Secondary level.
- Skills:
- Deep conceptual clarity of political ideologies, constitutional frameworks, and historical timelines.
- Strong command over analytical essay writing for Board exams and the ability to teach the speed and logical elimination strategies needed for entrance MCQs.
- Ability to relate historical events and political concepts to contemporary global and domestic news, making the subjects relevant and captivating for students.
