Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Sourcing: Identify and source engineering components, materials, and equipment required for projects. Evaluate technical specifications and ensure alignment with Product requirements.
2. Vendor and Supplier Management: - Build and maintain relationships with key vendors and suppliers. Identify new suppliers and assess their capabilities to diversify the supplier base.Collaborate with vendors to ensure on-time deliveries and quality products.
3 Negotiation and Contracting: Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers, including technical specifications, delivery schedules, and pricing.Ensure that contracts align with Product needs and quality standards.
4. Cost Management: Monitor and control procurement costs, identifying opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality. Provide cost estimates for engineering components and materials.8. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to technical specifications, purchase orders, and contracts. Ensure compliance with documentation requirements and industry standards.
