Duties
1. Evaluate patients to determine whether physiotherapy interventions are necessary
2. Assess patients in accordance with the professional practice guidelines and standards
3. Treat patients with movement disorders that were acquired through injury or have been present since birth
4. Regularly measure patient progress by looking for signs of decreased stiffness, pain, and discomfort
5. Refer patients to other specialists for massages, acupuncture, hydrotherapy, or other specialized treatments
6. Recommend new tools and equipment to assist patients with regular exercise
7. Evaluate effects of therapy treatment and communicate patients' progress
8. Record and document patient care services
9. Collaborate with other team personnel to achieve well-rounded care
10. Making assessments of patients' physical conditions.
11. Formulating treatment plans to address the conditions and needs of patients.
12. Conducting complex mobilization techniques.
13. Assisting trauma patients with how to walk again.
14. Educating patients, family members, and the community on how to prevent injuries and live a healthy lifestyle.
15. Referring patients to doctors and other medical practitioners.
16. Planning and organizing physiotherapy and fitness programs.
17. Rehabilitation of patients with minor to severe injuries which occurred during a certain period of time
18. Conduct reports and analysis of the patients’ health based on their present health condition
19. Development and restoration of body systems especially the muscular system, the nervous system, the cardiovascular system and the respiratory system
20. Evaluation of the patients’ health based on their recent physical activities
21. Recommendation of new equipment to resume physical activities for health recovery
22. Conducting therapies on patients who require it immediately or at a later point of time
23. Helping people to recover from trauma and incidents that made them incapable of doing anything with even the slightest of physical force
24. Recovering servicemen or former military personnel to recover from injuries received during their service period
25. Assisting people with high-levels of PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) to recover with patience and care.
26. Encouraging people to engage in doing exercises both of mind, body and spirit to keep them healthy and fine.
Qualifications
A degree in Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) from a recognized institution and a compulsory
six -month / one year of internship
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
