About AcordAI
AcordAI is an AI-powered insurance automation platform designed to help insurance agencies automate
policy checking, ACORD form processing, document comparison, and workflow management. The platform
allows users to upload insurance documents, compare policies, identify mismatches, track review status,
and generate manager-ready summaries.
We are looking for a Full-Stack Developer who can build both frontend user interfaces and backend APIs for
the AcordAI platform.
Role Overview
The Full-Stack Developer will work across the frontend and backend of AcordAI. This person will help build
dashboards, document upload screens, policy comparison views, checklist review pages, user workflows,
and backend APIs required to support those features.
This role is best suited for someone who can move fast, understand product requirements, build clean user facing screens, and connect them to reliable backend services.
Key Responsibilities
Build frontend screens using React, Next.js, TypeScript, or similar technologies.
Develop dashboards for policy review, document comparison, client management, and workflow
tracking.
Build document upload, document preview, checklist, mismatch status, and review result screens.
Connect frontend screens to backend APIs.
Build or support backend APIs using Python, FastAPI, Node.js, or similar frameworks.
Work with databases such as PostgreSQL to support users, clients, policies, documents, checklist
results, and workflow status.
Implement role-based user flows for admin, reviewer, manager, and client-facing users.
Build reusable UI components for tables, filters, forms, status badges, document cards, and review
panels.
Support PDF/document viewer integrations and display extracted policy data clearly.
Help integrate AI/OCR results into the frontend experience.
Fix bugs, improve performance, and support product demos.
Collaborate with backend, AI, QA, and product teams.
Write clean, maintainable, production-quality code.
Required Skills
Strong experience with React, Next.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.- Good understanding of HTML, CSS, responsive design, and frontend architecture.
- Experience building dashboards, admin panels, SaaS applications, or workflow tools.
- Experience consuming REST APIs.
Basic to intermediate backend development experience.
- Experience with Python/FastAPI, Node.js, or similar backend frameworks.
- Experience with PostgreSQL or similar databases.
- Experience with Git, GitHub, and modern development workflows.
- Ability to convert Figma designs, wireframes, or rough product requirements into working screens.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Good to Have
- Experience with Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, Material UI, or similar component libraries.
- Experience with authentication, user roles, and permission-based UI.
- Experience with document upload, PDF preview, file handling, or OCR workflows.
- Experience with AI/LLM API integrations.
- Experience with insurance workflows, ACORD forms, policy documents, or compliance systems.
- Experience with Docker and cloud deployment.
- Experience building MVPs or startup products.
