Key Responsibilities (Librarian)
- Manage and maintain library resources, including books, periodicals, reference materials, and digital resources as per standard library practices.
- Ensure proper cataloguing, accessioning, circulation, stock verification, and maintenance of library records.
- Assist students and teachers in accessing and utilizing library resources for academic and research purposes.
- Promote reading habits through library activities, book displays, and literary programmes.
- Coordinate with teachers for effective library usage and curriculum support.
- Ensure compliance with CBSE library norms, including annual stock verification and maintenance of library documentation.
Qualification :
- Graduate in any discipline with Bachelor of Library & Information Science (B.Lib./B.Lib.Sc./B.L.I.Sc.) from a recognized institution.
- Master of Library & Information Science (M.Lib./M.L.I.Sc.) will be preferred.
- Proficiency in library automation software, digital cataloguing, and MS Office.
- Prior experience in a CBSE/ICSE school will be an added advantage
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹27,000.00 per month
