Summary:
ITADC (Integrated Textile & Apparel Development Centre) Coordinator is responsible for supporting and promoting the growth, modernization, and efficiency of ITADC (Integrated Textile & Apparel Development Centre) units within the assigned cluster. This role involves regular field visits, data collection, and coordination with industry stakeholders and government bodies, especially the Regional Office of the Textile Commissioner. Key responsibilities include identifying training and consultancy needs, optimizing machinery utilization, facilitating audits, organizing awareness programs, and exploring opportunities for testing services and technical support. The role requires strong coordination, data management, and communication skills to support the development of the ITADC (Integrated Textile & Apparel Development Centre) sector and ensure alignment with government schemes like TURF.
Qualification:
- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering.
Experience : 2 to 5 Years
Skills Required:
Technical Skills:
– Knowledge of ITADC (Integrated Textile & Apparel Development Centre) operations and textile machinery
– Understanding of modern textile technologies and machinery upgrades
– Ability to assess training, consultancy, and maintenance needs of ITADC (Integrated Textile & Apparel Development Centre) units
– Familiarity with government schemes (e.g., TUFS/TURF) and compliance audits
– Competence in data collection, analysis, and reporting related to loom performance and unit status
– Awareness of testing methods, textile quality parameters, and related lab services
Coordination & Field Skills:
– Field visit planning and industrial cluster engagement
– Ability to coordinate with the Regional Office of the Textile Commissioner and other stakeholders
– Experience in organizing seminars, sensitization programs, and awareness workshops
– Capacity to identify and promote consultancy and troubleshooting assignments in industries
