Job Purpose:
To prepare accurate engineering drawings and detailed designs for cranes, structural components, machinery, and related products as per customer requirements, technical specifications, and manufacturing standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare 2D and 3D engineering drawings for EOT cranes, gantry cranes, industrial structures, and machinery.
- Develop detailed fabrication and assembly drawings.
- Prepare GA (General Arrangement), part, sectional, and detailed drawings.
- Convert engineering concepts and calculations into manufacturing-ready drawings.
- Prepare BOM (Bill of Materials) and material specifications.
- Modify drawings based on design changes, customer requirements, and production feedback.
- Coordinate with Design, Production, Purchase, Quality, and Sales teams.
- Ensure drawings are accurate and comply with approved technical specifications.
- Check dimensions, tolerances, welding details, material grades, and other technical requirements.
- Maintain proper revision control and documentation of drawings.
- Prepare drawings for manufacturing, fabrication, installation, and site requirements.
- Review shop-floor requirements and resolve drawing-related issues.
- Maintain a systematic database of drawings and design documents.
- Support the engineering team in design improvements and product development.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Knowledge of SolidWorks / Inventor / Creo is an advantage
- Understanding of engineering drawings and fabrication
- Knowledge of GD&T and basic manufacturing processes
- Knowledge of structural steel and welding drawings
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications
- Good mathematical and analytical skills
- Attention to detail
- Good coordination and communication skills
Qualification
Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical qualification.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
