Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our growing finance team.In this entry-level role, you will support daily financial operations by maintaining accurate records, processing transactions, and assisting with financial reporting. You will work closely with senior accounting staff, providing an excellent opportunity to develop your professional accounting skills and advance your career.Key Responsibilities
- Data Entry & General Ledger: Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process vendor invoices, prepare payments, issue customer billing, and follow up on outstanding collections.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements, credit card transactions, and petty cash against the general ledger.
- Month-End Close Support: Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, including prepayments and accruals.
- Financial Reporting: Help compile data for the preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and other regular financial reports.
- Compliance & Audits: Maintain organized physical and digital financial records to ensure compliance with company policies and assist with internal or external audits.
- Vendor & Client Communication: Act as a point of contact for routine billing inquiries and resolve basic discrepancies professionally.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 0–1 years of experience in an accounting or administrative role (relevant internships count).
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Sage, or Xero).
- Knowledge: Foundational understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or local financial regulations.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
