The performance of the Accounts Manager will be measured based on:
- Accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting
- Reduction in outstanding receivables
- Timely customer billing
- Timely vendor payments
- Accuracy of account reconciliations
- Control over operational expenses
- GST and statutory compliance
- Reduction in accounting discrepancies
- Timely completion of monthly accounts
- Effective cash flow management
- Branch-wise financial control
- Audit compliance
REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
- Strong knowledge of accounting and financial management
- Experience in Transportation or Logistics accounting preferred
- Knowledge of freight billing and transportation costing
- Strong knowledge of GST and taxation
- Accounts receivable and payable management
- Bank and ledger reconciliation
- Financial analysis and reporting
- Strong command of MS Excel
- Knowledge of accounting software such as Tally / ERP
- Leadership and team management skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance)
CA / CMA qualification will be an added advantage.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT
10-15 years of experience in Accounts and Finance, preferably in a Transportation, Logistics, Warehousing, Freight Forwarding, or Supply Chain Company.
OVERALL ACCOUNTABILITY
The Accounts Manager will be responsible for maintaining the financial health and discipline of the organisation by ensuring accurate accounting, timely billing, effective recovery of outstanding payments, controlled expenses, proper vendor management, statutory compliance, and transparent financial reporting.
The role requires close coordination with Operations, Branch Offices, Customers, Vendors, and Senior Management to ensure that the company's financial and operational activities are properly controlled and accurately recorded.
Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
