Video Editor Intern – Job Description

About the role
We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Video Editor Intern to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about storytelling through visuals and wants to build hands-on experience in a professional environment.
Key responsibilities
- Edit raw footage into engaging, polished video content for social media, internal use, and marketing campaigns
- Add music, voiceovers, subtitles, transitions, and motion graphics as required
- Assist the creative team in conceptualising and executing video ideas
- Organise and manage video files, assets, and project folders
- Make revisions based on feedback in a timely manner
- Stay updated on current video trends, formats, and platform requirements (Instagram Reels, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)
Requirements
- Recently completed a degree in Mass Communication, Media Production, Film, or a related field
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut
- A portfolio or sample work (college projects, personal content, or freelance work are all welcome)
- Good eye for detail, pacing, and visual aesthetics
- Ability to take feedback positively and deliver within deadlines
- Knowledge of After Effects or basic motion graphics is an added advantage
