Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Lead Recruiter – UK/EU Staffing to drive end-to-end recruitment delivery across the UK and European markets. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, deep expertise in technology recruitment, and the ability to manage recruitment teams while delivering against aggressive hiring targets.
Candidates with substantial experience in US IT Staffing and proven leadership skills may also be considered, provided they demonstrate adaptability to UK/EU hiring practices, compliance requirements, and market dynamics.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the recruitment function for UK/EU staffing requirements across contract and permanent hiring.
- Drive end-to-end recruitment lifecycle including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer management, and onboarding.
- Build and mentor high-performing recruitment teams to ensure delivery excellence.
- Develop sourcing strategies for niche and hard-to-fill technology roles.
- Manage client/stakeholder relationships and understand hiring priorities.
- Ensure SLAs, KPIs, and submission quality metrics are consistently met.
- Monitor recruiter productivity, pipeline health, and hiring performance.
- Support account growth by identifying hiring trends and market opportunities.
- Maintain strong knowledge of UK/EU employment regulations, hiring compliance, and candidate market intelligence.
- Collaborate with sales, account management, and delivery leadership to support workforce planning.
Required Skills & Experience
- At least 5+ years of recruitment experience in IT staffing / technology hiring
- Strong experience recruiting for UK and/or EU markets
- Proven experience leading recruitment teams
- Strong stakeholder and client management skills
- Expertise in sourcing through job boards, LinkedIn, networking, and talent mapping
- Experience handling niche technical roles across Digital, Cloud, Data, Engineering, DevOps, ERP, Cyber Security, etc.
- Strong understanding of recruitment metrics and delivery governance
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience in contract staffing and permanent hiring
- Exposure to MSP / RPO / direct client models
- Experience with ATS/CRM platforms
- Prior US IT staffing leadership experience is a plus
Nice to Have
- Understanding of IR35, right-to-work, and compliance processes for UK hiring
- Experience scaling delivery teams
