- Supplier Evaluation: Identify, audit, and onboard reliable vendors that meet stringent pharmaceutical quality standards.
- Contract Negotiation: Secure favorable terms, pricing, and volume commitments for critical materials.
- Vendor Performance: Monitor suppliers continuously to ensure on-time delivery, quality adherence, and SLA compliance.
2. Quality Assurance & Regulatory Compliance
- cGMP Alignment: Ensure all purchasing activities strictly adhere to Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) and FDA/local regulatory guidelines.
- Material Traceability: Verify that suppliers provide necessary documentation, such as Certificates of Analysis (CoA) and Drug Master Files (DMF).
- Risk Mitigation: Establish contingency plans and alternative sourcing for critical APIs to prevent production downtime.
3. Inventory & Supply Chain Optimization
- Demand Forecasting: Collaborate with production and planning teams to forecast material needs accurately.
- Stock Optimization: Maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent both stockouts and costly overstocking.
- ERP/MRP Utilization: Leverage Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems for tracking.
4. Financial & Budget Management [1]
- Budget Control: Develop and manage the procurement budget, tracking expenditures and driving cost-reduction initiatives.
- Spend Analysis: Analyze purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities and report financial metrics (MIS) to senior management.
Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
