Sales Manager – Job Description
Job Summary:
The Sales Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and managing sales activities to achieve business targets. This role involves leading a sales team, identifying new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with healthcare professionals and institutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction while complying with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share goals.
- Lead, coach, and motivate the healthcare sales team to meet performance targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, healthcare providers, and key decision-makers.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Conduct sales forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis.
- Collaborate with marketing, product and customer support teams to execute promotional campaigns.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and company policies.
- Prepare sales reports and present performance updates to senior management.
- Organize product demonstrations, training sessions, and customer meetings.
- Resolve customer concerns and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- MBA in Sales & Marketing / Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of healthcare, pharmaceutical, medical device, diagnostics, or healthcare services sales experience.
- Previous experience in leading and managing sales teams.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
