Job Description: Recruitment Consultant – Industrial Vertical
We are seeking a self-driven Recruitment Consultant to join our talent advisory consultancy. This is an Associate-level role for an individual contributor who can independently manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for our manufacturing, engineering, and industrial clients. You will work with minimal supervision to deliver top talent mandates in the industrial space.
Job Overview
- Position Title: Recruitment Consultant / Associate Consultant / Senior Executive
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Experience Required: 2 to 6 years of core recruitment experience
- Role Summary: Independently handle your own client accounts, managing everything from understanding the initial job brief to final candidate onboarding.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Execution
- Own the full recruitment cycle independently, delivering high-quality profiles within tight deadlines.
- Source junior-to-mid level talent by utilizing diverse sourcing methods, including job portals, professional networking platforms, headhunting, industry mapping, and referral networks.
Client Management & Advisory
- Interface directly with clients, hiring managers, and key stakeholders to take detailed job briefings.
- Advise manufacturing clients on realistic talent availability, salary benchmarks, and market trends.
- Manage client expectations regarding hiring timelines, salary negotiations, and pipeline bottlenecks.
Assessment & Candidate Closure
- Screen candidates thoroughly for technical skills, cultural fit, and overall alignment with client requirements.
- Manage complex offer negotiations independently, balancing candidate expectations with client budgets.
- Ensure robust post-offer engagement to minimize drop-out rates and guarantee smooth onboarding.
Reporting & Compliance
- Maintain 100% accurate records across all internal trackers and recruitment reports.
- Track personal recruitment metrics, such as submittal-to-hire ratios and average time-to-fill.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Experience & Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a Master’s degree in any stream (an HR specialization is a plus).
- Minimum 2 years of experience working within a recruitment agency or a consultancy setup.
- Proven track record of independently managing manufacturing, automotive, or engineering hiring mandates.
Core Competencies
- Deep understanding of industrial domains, such as Manufacturing, SCM, Engineering/R&D, Sales & Marketing, HR, Finance, Lean Manufacturing, EHS, and general plant operations.
- Strong headhunting skills to map competitor landscapes and proactively engage passive talent.
Behavioural Skills
- High autonomy to prioritize daily tasks and meet placement targets without requiring constant superior support.
- Excellent negotiation skills to successfully navigate counter-offers and notice period buyouts.
- Clear communication to confidently manage relationships with both candidates and corporate leadership. English
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
