RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan and execute on-page, off-page and technical SEO strategies to grow organic traffic and rankings.
- Conduct keyword research for destinations, tour packages and travel topics (e.g. Char Dham, Kerala, Nepal).
- Optimise website pages, meta tags, headings, content and internal linking for target keywords.
- Build quality backlinks through outreach, guest posts, directories and partnerships.
- Run technical SEO audits — site speed, mobile usability, crawl errors, indexing and schema.
- Work with the content team to plan and optimise blog articles and landing pages for search.
- Track and report rankings, traffic, conversions and competitor performance using analytics tools.
- Stay current with Google algorithm updates and SEO best practices.
REQUIREMENTS
- 2–3 years of hands-on SEO experience.
- Strong knowledge of on-page, off-page and technical SEO.
- Proficiency with tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs or similar.
- Understanding of keyword research, link building and content optimisation.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, WordPress / CMS and site structure.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to read data and act on it.
- Good written English and attention to detail.
- Graduate in any field; Marketing, IT or related preferred.
PREFERRED (A BIG PLUS)
- Experience in the travel, tourism or hospitality industry.
- Working knowledge of Google Ads / PPC or local SEO.
- Basic content writing or blogging skills.
