About the Role
The Production Head will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling all manufacturing operations to ensure production targets, quality standards, safety requirements, and cost objectives are achieved. The role requires strong leadership capabilities and expertise in manufacturing processes, resource utilization, workforce management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Planning & Execution
- Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly production plans.
- Ensure production targets are achieved within specified timelines.
- Monitor production schedules and allocate resources effectively.
- Coordinate with procurement and stores teams for material availability.
Manufacturing Operations
- Oversee all manufacturing activities .
- Ensure smooth functioning of machines, equipment, and production lines.
- Monitor machine utilization and production efficiency.
- Reduce production bottlenecks and operational delays.
Team Leadership
- Lead and supervise production supervisors, operators, and technicians.
- Allocate manpower according to production requirements.
- Conduct performance evaluations and training programs.
- Foster a culture of accountability, discipline, and continuous improvement.
Quality & Process Control
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and manufacturing specifications.
- Coordinate with quality teams to reduce defects and rework.
- Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and quality.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure strict adherence to safety policies and regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and toolbox talks.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and company requirements.
Reporting & Analysis
- Analyze production performance and prepare management reports.
- Monitor production costs, wastage, downtime, and efficiency metrics.
- Recommend corrective actions to improve operational performance.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
Experience Required:
- 4-8 years of manufacturing experience.
Pay: Up to ₹50,000.00 per month
