About the Role
looking for Application Security Analysts (L1 & L2) to support application security change management activities for a leading enterprise client. The role involves reviewing application changes, coordinating security testing, validating security compliance, and ensuring secure implementation of application releases.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and manage application change requests from a security perspective.
- Coordinate Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing (VAPT) for application changes.
- Validate security testing reports and ensure vulnerabilities are addressed before production deployment.
- Work closely with development, infrastructure, and security teams during change implementation.
- Track security findings and support remediation activities.
- Ensure compliance with security policies, change management processes, and audit requirements.
- Maintain documentation, reports, and change records.
- Escalate security risks and critical findings as required.
Required Skills
- 1–5 years of experience in Application Security or Information Security.
- Good understanding of Change Management and Application Security Testing.
- Knowledge of VAPT, OWASP Top 10, secure SDLC, and security best practices.
- Familiarity with web applications, APIs, and common security vulnerabilities.
- Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, JIRA, etc.).
- Knowledge of vulnerability management and remediation tracking.
- Security certifications such as CEH, Security+, eJPT ,or equivalent will be an added advantage.
