Role Overview
The Sr. Accounts Executive will be responsible for day-to-day accounting, bank reconciliation, Tally operations,
audit support, statutory compliance, billing, AR/AP, vendor payments, and financial reporting. The role will also
coordinate with internal teams, vendors, customers, auditors, and banks to ensure accurate and timely financial
records.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and verify accounting entries including Sales, Purchase, Journal Vouchers, Payments, and Receipts.
- Perform daily/weekly bank reconciliation and investigate and resolve unreconciled items.
- Maintain books of accounts and accounting records in Tally ERP.
- Handle billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, customer collections, and vendor payments.
- Prepare and maintain GST, TDS, PF, ESI and other statutory compliance data and supporting records.
- Perform GST reconciliation and maintain proper tax documentation.
- Coordinate with statutory/internal auditors and provide schedules, ledgers, vouchers, confirmations, and other
audit documents.
- Assist in finalization of accounts and audit requirements, including follow-up on audit observations.
- Maintain vendor/customer ledgers and resolve accounting or payment-related discrepancies.
- Prepare MIS and accounting reports covering Sales, COGS, Gross Margin, EBITDA, AR and AP.
- Support inventory and SKU costing-related financial data and coordinate with operations where required.
- Maintain accounting SOPs, documentation, and supporting records with strong attention to accuracy and
deadlin
