Role Summary
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Facility Manager to oversee the overall infrastructure, maintenance, and operational readiness of our Pune clinic.
This role is critical to ensuring a safe, compliant, hygienic, and smoothly functioning clinical environment that supports high-quality patient care and an exceptional client experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesFacility Operations & Maintenance
- Oversee day-to-day maintenance of clinic infrastructure (OPD, OT, reception, diagnostics areas)
- Ensure all equipment, electricals, plumbing, HVAC systems are functioning efficiently
- Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance
Vendor & AMC Management
- Manage external vendors for housekeeping, security, biomedical waste, pest control, etc.
- Track and maintain Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs) for medical and non-medical equipment
- Ensure timely service and cost optimization
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure adherence to clinic hygiene, safety, and biomedical waste management protocols
- Maintain statutory compliance (fire safety, local regulations, licenses, etc.)
- Conduct periodic safety audits and drills
Housekeeping & Hygiene Standards
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness across all patient and client areas
- Supervise housekeeping staff and ensure SOP adherence
- Monitor infection control practices within the clinic
Inventory & Asset Management
- Track facility-related inventory (consumables, cleaning supplies, maintenance tools)
- Maintain asset registers and ensure proper utilization
- Support procurement and cost control
Coordination with Clinical & Admin Teams
- Work closely with doctors, technicians, and front office teams
- Ensure smooth functioning of clinic operations without disruption
- Support clinic readiness for surgeries and procedures
Emergency & Issue Handling
- Act as the first point of contact for facility-related emergencies
- Ensure quick resolution of breakdowns and operational issues
Qualifications Education
- Graduate (any discipline)
- Diploma/Certification in Facility Management is an added advantage
Experience
- 5–6 years of experience in facility management (hospital / clinic / healthcare preferred)
- Experience managing multi-functional facilities is a plus
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of facility systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC)
- Vendor management and AMC handling
- Basic computer skills (Excel, reports, inventory tracking)
Core Competencies
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- High attention to detail and ownership mindset
- Should be able to travel to other branches of Mumbai
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Good coordination and communication skills
- Should be able to join within a month.
