Job description:
- Patrol and Security: Conducting regular rounds of buildings, parking lots, and specialized zones (ER, pharmacy) to deter unauthorized access.
- Emergency Response: Acting as first responders to security threats (violent patients/visitors) and supporting staff in medical emergencies.
- Conflict Resolution: De-escalating volatile situations between patients, visitors, and staff using verbal and non-verbal techniques.
- Access Control: Managing entry points, verifying visitor credentials, and conducting authorized, after-hours escorts.
- Monitoring & Documentation: Reviewing CCTV, checking equipment (e.g., electronic doors), and writing detailed, accurate incident reports.
- Safety Enforcement: Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, such as fire hazards, infection control, and, if required, basic first aid. Himalayas
Key Qualifications and Skills
- Skills: Exceptional communication, de-escalation expertise, situational awareness, and proficiency in security, surveillance, and emergency equipment.
- Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, often with previous security or law enforcement experience preferred.

Physical and Environmental Demands
- Must be able to work varied shifts (day, night, weekends).
- Adherence to strict hygiene, infection control, and, if required, personal protective equipment (PPE) standards.
- Must handle potential, and sometimes, violent or emotionally charged
