Role Overview
At TimeLine ERP, we are bridging the gap between the physical shop floor and digital intelligence. We are looking for a hands-on Field Automation & IIoT Integration Engineer who is comfortable working directly with our manufacturing clients. You will be the face of our technical team, responsible for installing IoT hardware on factory machines, extracting critical production data, and ensuring it flows seamlessly into our TimeLine ERP system.
What You’ll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities)
- IIoT Implementation: Install, configure, and troubleshoot IoT devices on various manufacturing machines (Foundry, CNC, Plastics, etc.) to capture real-time machine data.
- Customer Interaction: Conduct site visits to client factories to assess machine compatibility, discuss integration requirements with shop-floor managers, and perform on-site installations.
- System Integration: Interface machine data (PLC/Sensors) with our ERP system, ensuring reliable data transmission and synchronization.
- Automation Troubleshooting: Provide support for PLC and SCADA-based systems to ensure factory automation remains stable.
- Data Evaluation: Use basic programming knowledge (C#/C++ or similar) to perform initial data evaluation and ensure the data captured is accurate and meaningful for the ERP.
- Consultative Support: Act as a technical advisor to our clients, helping them understand how their machine data can improve production planning and efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation, shop-floor instrumentation, or IIoT implementation.
- Core Automation: Good working knowledge of PLC and SCADA systems. You should be comfortable reading logic and troubleshooting existing setups.
- Hardware & Wiring: Proficient in building/wiring control cabinets, soldering, and installing industrial sensors independently.
- Programming Basics: Basic knowledge of programming (C#/C++ preferred) to handle data parsing and integration between hardware and software.
- Communication: Ability to explain technical machine setups to factory directors and shop-floor personnel clearly.
- Travel: Willingness to travel to client sites across the region for installations and troubleshooting.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
