We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Account Assistant to support the day-to-day accounting operations of our security services company. The ideal candidate will assist with invoicing, payroll, GST compliance, vendor payments, bank reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records while ensuring timely reporting and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and issue client invoices as per contracts and work orders.
- Record daily financial transactions in accounting software (e.g., Tally ERP/Tally Prime).
- Maintain accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Process vendor invoices and prepare payment vouchers.
- Assist in salary processing for security guards and office staff.
- Verify attendance, overtime, statutory deductions, and payroll records.
- Perform bank reconciliation and maintain cash and bank books.
- Prepare GST data and assist in GST return filing.
- Maintain records for TDS, PF, ESI, Professional Tax, and other statutory compliances.
- Prepare purchase orders, expense reports, and reimbursement statements.
- Maintain proper filing of invoices, receipts, agreements, and financial documents.
- Coordinate with clients regarding billing queries and payment follow-ups.
- Assist during internal and external audits.
- Generate monthly MIS reports and financial summaries for management.
- Support the Accounts Manager with other accounting and administrative tasks.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Goregaon, Mumbai, Maharashtra
