Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to manage sales billing, accounting of bills, and overall financial operations for our Ready-Mix Concrete (RMC) plant. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ledger management, ERP systems, and end-to-end accounting processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Billing & Invoicing
- Prepare, verify, and process customer invoices for RMC sales.
- Ensure timely billing and reconciliation of accounts receivable.
- Monitor outstanding payments and coordinate with sales teams for collections.
- Accounting & Ledger Management
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts across all financial transactions.
- Record journal entries, adjustments, and accruals in ERP system.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Manage accounting workflows within ERP software (SAP/Oracle/Tally or equivalent).
- Generate financial reports, dashboards, and MIS for management review.
- Ensure smooth integration of billing, inventory, and production data.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (GST, TDS, etc.).
- Support internal and external audits with accurate documentation.
Process Improvement
- Streamline billing and accounting processes for efficiency.
- Identify gaps in ERP usage and recommend system enhancements.
- Train junior accountants and staff on accounting best practices.
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: ₹27,580.48 - ₹47,396.60 per month
