- Assist in Inspecting and Maintaining Fire Extinguishers: Ensure that fire extinguishers are up to code, not expired, and functioning properly. This includes assist in performing hydrostatic tests and dismantling extinguishers to check for defects.
- Recharging and cleaning extinguishers: Refill extinguishers with patented solutions and clean them.
- Installing and repairing fire extinguishers: Install fire extinguishers in new or renovated facilities, and repair cabinets or brackets that hold them..
- Assist in Fire Hydrant System maintenance: Inspecting, testing, and maintaining fire hydrants to ensure they are available and fit for purpose
- Reporting defects :Reporting defects to the in charge.
- Record keeping Completing reports on the results of inspections and assisting with the compilation of hydrant records.
