Job Purpose:
To generate business opportunities through proactive marketing, client engagement, lead generation, and proposal coordination for engineering services, industrial equipment, spare parts, and retrofitting solutions in domestic and international markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in target sectors such as power plants, process industries, and EPC contractors.
- Generate leads through market research, online platforms, industry exhibitions, and customer visits.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, consultants, OEMs, and plant managers.
- Prepare and deliver technical-commercial presentations to clients.
- Coordinate with engineering and proposal teams to prepare accurate quotations, prequalification documents, and technical offers.
- Handle the complete sales cycle—from enquiry to order finalization—including negotiation and closure.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets in line with the company’s growth objectives.
- Maintain CRM records of all interactions, opportunities, and follow-ups.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform marketing strategies.
- Represent the company in trade fairs, expos, and networking events.
- Support digital marketing activities, including content for email campaigns, LinkedIn posts, and product brochures.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) (BBA/MBA in Marketing will be added advantage)
- 2–6 years of experience in sales & marketing of engineering services, industrial equipment, or EPC-related products.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with CRM tools is a plus.
- Ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into client-friendly proposals.
- Willingness to travel frequently to client sites and plants.
Desirable Attributes:
- Experience in international sales (Africa / Southeast Asia) and handling exports.
- Familiarity with government tenders, EPC contracts, and B2B industrial sales processes.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and target-driven mindset.
Pay: ₹13,946.52 - ₹58,166.56 per month
