About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Automation Architect with deep expertise in Ansible, AWS Cloud, Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, and Infrastructure Automation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing enterprise-scale automation solutions, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), cloud-native platforms, and security automation.
This is a hands-on technical role where you will build scalable automation frameworks, drive cloud platform modernization, and implement secure, resilient infrastructure across enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Ansible playbooks, roles, and collections.
- Automate OS patching, configuration management, security hardening, compliance enforcement, and post-provisioning activities across AWS, Azure, VMware, and REST-integrated environments.
- Design and implement AWS cloud automation using Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, SNS/SQS, S3, and Systems Manager.
- Develop reusable Terraform modules for AWS infrastructure, including networking, IAM, EKS, ECS, RDS, and security services.
- Build and manage Kubernetes environments using Helm, including upgrades, rollbacks, and multi-environment deployments.
- Drive GitOps adoption using ArgoCD or Flux.
- Build CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps for infrastructure automation.
- Implement security automation, vulnerability remediation, infrastructure hardening, and certificate lifecycle management.
- Integrate automation with CyberArk, AWS Secrets Manager, and SSM Parameter Store.
- Develop policy-as-code and compliance automation using tools such as OPA, Gatekeeper, or Conftest.
- Build self-healing automation workflows using observability platforms such as New Relic and LogicMonitor.
- Integrate automation workflows with enterprise ITSM platforms for change management, approvals, and CMDB updates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to improve platform reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure Automation.
- Expert-level hands-on experience with Ansible, including playbooks, roles, collections, dynamic inventory, Jinja2 templating, and custom module development.
- Strong experience with AWS Cloud Architecture and multi-account environments.
- Extensive knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Strong experience with Kubernetes and Helm.
- Hands-on experience implementing GitOps using ArgoCD or Flux.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
- Strong scripting skills using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with AWS serverless services including Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, SNS/SQS, S3, and Systems Manager.
- Knowledge of IAM, networking, cloud security, and enterprise infrastructure best practices.
- Experience implementing security and compliance automation aligned with CIS, NIST, and AWS Well-Architected Framework.
